Make sure it is finished before class on Thursday. If you don't finish today, finish tomorrow in between or after testing.

Open the word document below. Then open the Nearpod - PhET simulation: Intro to Energy Skate Park Lab. In the Nearpod hit the right arrow to bring up the simulation. Use the simulation to answer questions in the word doc and submit your work. Complete at least half, which is question 1-11 on Wednesday and finish on Thursday.

Join with this CODE at join.nearpod.com "OURQC" or click below. Then read each question. The questions will tell you how to set up your simulation. You should be able to easily type on the file below and it is already saved and attached here with your name on it. When finished come back here and "Turn In".

Be sure to write full sentences when explaining question 20 and 21 and answer each part of the questions. On question 21 to draw your track click where you want it to appear, go to the menu at the top of the document and click insert, then another menu will appear below - click drawing, then click New+, next select the arrow next to the line, click scribble. This will allow you to draw your track then hit save and close to put it in your doc. For more instruction on this watch the video below.

Meet the Class Activity: Your first science assignment is to make a video to introduce yourself to your teacher and classmates using Flipgrid. Then make respectful comments on each other's videos. This Flipgrid link will be used for several assignments throughout the year so learn how to use it in this activity. Tell about you and create your 1-2 minute video any way you like while including at least 5 of the listed information below. Watch my “about me” video resource and then tell me about you. Remember what that smart little rabbit thumper said: "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all.". But you do need to find 5 nice things to say about 5 other videos. (1 appropriate comment on 5 different videos 10pts) Have fun being creative!
