Superintendent Danny Adkins congratulates our elementary academic team students on their accomplishments in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition Regional Governor’s Cup.
Adkins says, “Congratulations to our elementary academic team students! We want to give a shout out to May Valley Elementary, overall regional champs and 3rd place in Quick Recall! Congratulations Stumbo Elementary, 1st in Future Problem Solving! Our students took 1st place in 5 of the 6 individual written assessments!” Adkins explains this is the last step in Governor’s Cup competition saying, “Elementary students do not advance to state so the regional level is as high as they advance. We can’t wait to see what these students will do as they go into the middle school level and beyond and compete. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.”
Adkins comments, “We’re proud of our academic teams and want to wish the middle and high school teams and students the best of luck at state.” State competition is March 13-14.
